Dawn Johnson, M.S., LADC, LCAC, has over 20 years experience in the substance use disorder field. She graduated with a masters degree in Community Counseling, from Eastern Illinois University, and is a licensed alcohol and drug counselor in the states of Kansas and Nebraska. She has worked in various positions to include residential treatment counselor, director, clinical supervisor, and director of quality and compliance. She began her current employment as a clinical supervisor, then assistant regional director and now, area regional director. She excels at removing barriers to treatment and is considered an expert regarding HIPAA/42 CFR and equally passionate about protecting client confidentiality. Prior to entering the field of substance use disorder treatment, she served 10 years on active duty with the United States Air Force, and as a paralegal with the Department of the Judge Advocate General. She is proud of her service to her country and continuing the legacy of service in her family.
